Yes, you might be lucky enough to capture this event, or better yet, participate in it. It moves all over town so the chances you will see it are slim… and only once a month! Celebrate your bike and explore neighborhoods of Chicago you never knew existed. Grab some Dew&JD and your favorite candy to share with this vibrant community. Plan to attend the last Friday of every month at Daley Plaza for an energy-charged ride. “Happy Friday!”

Weegee’s Lounge
under the radar screen bar and removed from logan square
Small and dimly lit; Weegee’s produces top=notch cocktails. Crime scene photos from the bar’s namesake photojournalist.
California Clipper
most perfect vintage lounge
Established 1937. Classic cocktails with a few surprises served in classic, vaguely Wisconsin supper club space. Before the revamp Mai Tais, Rusty Nails, Rob Roys (perfect), Singapore Slings, and the beloved California Egg Creams were necessary to drink. Perfect design, smart crowd and live music often. Keep your eyes open for Tamale Man. Grape soda may be on the gun and no television.
Flying Saucer
modern cafe with a hip and happy vibe
From scratch organic and locally sourced foods. Vegetarian and carnivore friendly. Flying breakfast bowl is a hit. Open for breakfast and lunch.
Bang Bang Pie Shop
pie artisans first; business people second
Three pies daily by the slice or take a whole pie home; fruit, sweet, savory. Freshly roasted coffee and biscuits. Weather permitting, grab a sweat in the backyard. Simplicity works.
