Bucktown is east of Logan Square and north of Wicker Park and received its name from the large number of goats raised in the neighborhood. Wicker Park is northwest of the Loop and south of Bucktown and was originally home to wealthy Northern European immigrants. Ukranian Village’s boundaries are Chicago Avenue to the south, Division Street to the north, Western Avenue to the west and Damen Avenue to the east. Logan Square is centered at Milwaukee Avenue, Kedzie Avenue and Logan Boulevard at the public square. Logan Square is one of Chicago’s smaller communities and contains a mix of greystones, bungalows and historical boulevards. Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukranian Village and Logan Square are some of Chicago’s most thriving neighborhoods and boast many of Chicago’s best places to wander, catch a show, eat, drink and shop.
