Ina’s the breakfast queen

Gone but not forgotten. Ina Pinkney is a Chicago legend, beginning her career baking commercially as the Dessert Kitchen Ltd. then opening Ina’s Kitchen in 1991. She quickly became known as “Chicago’s breakfast queen.” Her establishments moved around and later became known as Ina’s, an American food restaurant, serving three meals a day. Her accolades are countless. Ina’s restaurant in River West closed at the end of 2013.
